"Refund was smooth, just wish updates were clearer"
I had to cancel my MYBYK plan i was already feeling mentally drained, so I was a bit worried the refund would turn into another hassle. Thankfully, it came back faster than I expected and I didn’t have to keep following up much, which was a big relief. The only thing I’d say is the app/support could be a little clearer about the refund status. That’s why I’m giving 4 stars. Overall, the refund process went smoothly for me.

"Wallet balance was honestly confusing"
I used mybyk recently, and the whole wallet balance thing was annoying. I added money, but it didn’t show properly for a while, and after my ride ended, I genuinely couldn’t figure out how much was deducted. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this should be much clearer if the wallet is being used for rides, right? I contacted support too, but they just told me to wait and didn’t really explain anything. It kind of feels like my money is stuck there with no proper tracking, which is frustrating.

"Ended up taking a cab"
Checked the app a couple times. Same story, pretty much no bikes showing at most spots. I walked around for a bit thinking maybe one would pop up or the app was just off. Nothing. After wasting enough time, I gave up and just booked a cab.

"Account Verification Is STILL Stuck"
I’m still stuck trying to verify my account, and it’s getting really frustrating. I’ve been waiting and checking back, but nothing seems to be moving forward. I just want to get this sorted out already because this should NOT be taking this long.

"Drop-off was such a hassle"
The drop-off process was way more annoying than it needed to be. I couldn’t find a clear or easy place to leave it, and the staff gave me mixed information that just made things more confusing. I ended up wasting a bunch of time and energy walking around and trying to figure it out. Definitely not using this again.

"I gave my bike in for maintenance and…"
I gave my bike in for maintenance and, to be fair, they did a nice job. The ride feels smoother now and everything seems properly checked. The only thing is it took a little longer than I expected, and I couldn’t help wondering if they were maybe handling other bikes in between or being extra cautious before handing it back. Either way, the end result was good, so overall I’m happy with the service.

"Payment Issues and Too Many Steps"
I tried to make a payment twice and both times it failed, which was already frustrating. Then getting the refund sorted took way longer than I expected, and there were just too many steps involved to fix something that should’ve been simple. it felt like more hassle than it needed to be.

"Always Acts Up at the Worst Time"
The locks work most of the time, but every now and then they just fail, and somehow it always happens at the worst possible moment. The app also hangs right when I actually need to get in or lock up quickly, which makes it extra frustrating. Maybe it’s just bad timing, but it’s been enough to make me lose confidence in it

From what I remember, the pickup spot was close and easy enough to get to, which was nice. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the timing — I remember feeling a little unsure about when exactly I was supposed to be there.

"Gear got stuck mid-ride"
I was out for a ride when the gear suddenly got stuck and wouldn’t shift properly. It was frustrating, especially since I had to stop and mess with it for a while just to get going again. that kind of hassle feels unnecessary when you’re just trying to enjoy a normal ride...

"I tried MyByk thinking it would be cheap…"
I tried MyByk thinking it would be cheap option for regular use, but the rental prices felt a bit too high for what you get. If you need it every day, the cost adds up fast and it doesn’t really feel affordable anymore. There were also some extra charges, which made whole thing more annoying. For me, it just wasn’t worth it

"Pretty decent bike rental experience"
I rented a bike from MyByk it was a good experience overall. The bike was in decent condition — brakes worked fine, the tyres seemed okay, and the seat was comfortable enough for the ride. There were a few scratches here and there, and it made a little noise while riding, though nothing that really bothered me too much. I was mostly just happy it rode smoothly, and then I kept thinking how even small things like a cleaner bike can make the pickup feel better. Just wish they had cleaned it a bit more before handing it over, but apart from that, no major complaints...

"Parking Was About What I Expected"
I didn’t have any major trouble finding parking near the pickup point. A few spots were already full, but that’s kind of what I expected, and overall it was still manageable.

"Billing issue got fixed in the end"
I had a bit of a problem with my ride billing and had to bring it up again after checking my email receipt. It took a little while for support to sort it out, but they did fix it properly in the end. Not perfect, but I’m happy it was handled. 4 stars from me

"Pretty scary ride"
I took it out and the brakes just didn’t feel right, like they were way too weak and not really grabbing. The whole ride ended up feeling scary, especially when it happened around that spot. I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable using it again unless someone checks it out first.

"Useful, but the price could be fairer"
I do find this useful and it does what I need, but the monthly price feels a bit high at times. I don’t mind paying for something that helps, but it would be nice if the cost felt a little more reasonable for everyday people

"Almost Perfect, I Dramatically Survived the 3-Second Wait"
Used mybyk for the first time unlocking the cycle was mostly smooth. The app took a few seconds to scan, which in the moment felt like I was waiting an entire lifetime, but then it opened just fine. Giving it 4 stars because it wasn’t instant, but really, it was not a big deal at all.

"Pretty easy, but not always clear"
Overall, it’s easy enough to use, but every now and then it gets a little confusing. Like most things these days, some parts feel simple while others make you wonder why they couldn’t just be more straightforward.

I tried to cancel my ride and it took way longer than it should have. The whole process felt unnecessarily frustrating, like they make it just confusing enough that you get stuck waiting while some policy loophole works in their favor. I get that there have to be rules, but canceling a ride should be simple and not feel like a trap

"Honestly, this felt irresponsible"
The brakes barely worked, and the whole ride was scary. I don’t think it’s right to send people out in something that feels unsafe like that. Basic safety should never be treated like an afterthought.
